Penny Webb is an interaction designer specialising in the integration of hardware and digital interfaces within product design. She works within the Healthtech Innovation Lab at Philips, designing the future of medical devices. 

Penny is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she worked as a research assistant in the Tangible Media Group at the MIT Media Lab, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), material advancements and digital craft. Concept development and innovation are key aspects of her creative and research practice, which she combines with a passion for craft and communication.

Penny’s work has been exhibited internationally, and nominated for awards including the Fast Co. Innovation by Design Award, Design Museum London’s Designs of the Year.

Alongside designing, Penny also writes for a number of online and offline journals.
